Who in their right mind soes not want to be HAPPY?

books like these should be taught in all high schools....information this valuable ought to be taught to every young person before leaving school, It should be a part of their learning structure, along with Communications;Banking and handling finances; and Understanding Relationships.Understanding how to keep the body healthy.
We are not and have not been teaching students the correct subjects for the first ten to fifteen years of their lives and then we wonder why our society is in such a huge mess! You must build on strong foundations and these are pillars of learning that we all require in our civilized societies.

RAYMOND M. BROOKS is a Professor of Finance at Oregon State University. He has taught a variety of finance courses, including introduction to financial management, investments, advanced corporate finance, financial institutions, financial planning, and risk management. Previously, he taught at Washington University in St. Louis; the University of Southern Illinois, Edwardsville; and the University of Missouri–Columbia. About the Author

Patricia MacLachlan is the celebrated author of many timeless books for young readers, including Sarah, Plain and Tall, winner of the Newbery Medal. Her novels for young readers include Arthur, For the Very First Time; The Facts and Fictions of Minna Pratt; Skylark; Caleb’s Story; More Perfect than the Moon; Grandfather’s Dance; Word After Word After Word; Kindred Souls; and The Truth of Me; she is also the author of countless beloved picture books, a number of which she cowrote with her daughter, Emily.

Katy Schneider lives in Northampton, Massachusetts, with her husband, Dave, and three children, Olive, Mae, and Ellis. She is the illustrator of Painting the Wind and Once I Ate a Pie and exhibits her paintings nationwide.

Emily MacLachlan Charest lives with her husband, her children, Sofia and Nicholas, two dogs, and one oversized cat, Romeo, who thinks he's a dog. She works with young children. She is the coauthor of Bittle, Painting the Wind, Once I Ate a Pie, and other books. She lives in Massachusetts.

Wow -- Perfect for Kids or any Dog Lover

This is a beautiful, beautiful book. The paintings by Katy Schneider are pure art. The dogs' expressions are perfect.

The text is non-rhyming poetry, but the rhythm is very catchy and appealing.

Not only was I captivated by the beautiful pictures and amused by the text, which is from the dogs' points of view, things that they like or don't like, and of course the title "I Didn't Do It," but so was my six-year-old son. After I read the whole book aloud, he went back that same day, reading some aloud to me, and some to himself. Hearing him read aloud made the perfection of the meter and the beat even more apparent.

Great gift for any dog lover!

Perfect Kid's Poetry Book

The author's previous book along the same lines, "Once I Ate a Pie," is one of my favorite children's poetry books ever. I've given it as a gift several times, and this one is just as good. I've read it with my son, and he's crazy about it. It's thoughtful, funny, diverse [as far as puppies and dogs go] and just delightful. It's one of those titles that works really well for both boys and girls. I highly recommend it for teachers, librarians, and parents. It would make for both good bedtime reading and for a fun gift. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed reading this book. This must be how my dogs think also. We often say, "Wonder what they are thinking." Now we know. Well, we might know through this book. I will pass this on to my grandaughter.

About the Author
Martin G. Moehrle is director of the institute for project management and innovation (IPMI) at the University of Bremen, Germany, since 2001. From 1996 to 2001 he was leading the chair for planning and innovation management at the Technical University of Cottbus, Germany. The major research interests of IPMI are technology forecasting, evaluation of innovations, patent strategies, and TRIZ. Prof. Moehrle has published several books and articles in the field of innovation and technology management.

Ralf Isenmann joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI, Karlsruhe (Germany), in 2008. His research areas are in the interface between the management of innovation and technologies on the one hand and sustainable management, industrial ecology and corporate social responsibility (CSR) on the other. Special foci are corporate foresight projects and applications of technology roadmapping at corporate, national and international level for various industrial and governmental clients. He is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies, University of Bremen. Since 2010 he is temporarily leading the Department for Sustainable Management at the Faculty of Business Studies, Management and Economics, University of Kassel.

Robert Phaal is a Principal Research Associate in the Engineering Department of the University of Cambridge, based in the Centre for Technology Management, Institute for Manufacturing. He conducts research in the area of strategic technology management, with particular interests in technology roadmapping and evaluation, emergence of technology-based industry and the development of practical management tools. Rob has a mechanical engineering background, with a PhD in computational mechanics, with industrial experience in technical consulting, contract research and software development.
